This trip was very informative, we were given a brief introduction by staff and we learnt that every piece of work was for sale in the museum.
They have different pieces of work for each season, on view when we were there they had the work of Damien Hirst, Tracey Elmin, Mary Fedden and Jack Vettriano.
Our adviser spoke to us about work experience available through applying, how this would give great experience to us.
this piece of art was that stood out to me which is most likely because it was a massive statue outside of the museum, this was a piece of art work done by Damien Hirst as a like art that sends a message I feel this was much more interesting as majority of the artwork in the museum was inside a frame which i didnt think was expressive.
